Head, Ebo, and Magic.
Meanings And Manifestations Of Ebo (pronounced with the ‘e’ as is ‘effect’)
The final battle for every mortal marks the threshold leading out of this universe into the next. Life before then is a series of REHEARSALS as preparatory battles (not the least for the African).
RUAOBI is the linguistic form that man and woman shares with transcendental ancestors. This is part of our inheritance from the FOUNDERS of the world. Ruaobi is produced as chant in the average of cases. It is however not limited to being chants. Ruaobi is one of the forms in which Ebo manifests. The Ebo of beings in general can be enlivened by the Ebo as Ruaobi. Ruaobi is like the detonator which ignites for example the Ebo of the bones of the one chanting. You must release the fire of your bones with Ruaobi, and the OGUN of Ebo must manifest. The fire must ignite before the dawn of the day — i.e. before you start analyzing events in words of commerce. The words in which you would be doing that have their own Ruaobi or Ebo; hence, they are likely to muddle up your output otherwise. When done correctly, Ruaobi would release the fire in the world around you turning darkness into light. The fire will consume the evil around you, yielding the realization of yourself — the “something extraordinary” will be fuelled to propel you and sustain you through to the attainment of prosperity until the performance at the throes of death.
HHUA-BOLT — Ebo Of Transcendental Ancestry that infused the bones on earth thereby launched the Ebo of human bones. HHUA is their Ebo and bound up with Ruaobi. Hhua is the essence in our bones, of the EBO or magic of the beings who are human, are of Homotheism. In other words, you ultimately determine your success or failure according to the hhua of your being. Every being that has bones bears hhua in its bones. Persons are endowed as Obo with the capability and AUTHORITY to create other beings (e.g. Ebo). Some lose this endowment through mundane initiation rituals. This is a mystery. Hhuabolt imbued all earth dwellers that have bones with the faculty for divination and ability to create in Ruaobi. Beings other than human beings who have bones must have these characteristics to varying extents as well.
HHUA-BOLT is the Ebo of the transcendental creators (AYI in Benin) that created beings who in turn created different universes. Ayi is a noun formed from the word “yi”. To yi is to create by bringing into manifestation what was not. Ayi therefore means, “That which creates”. It is not an object of worship, veneration, adorations, etc. It has neither form (nor image) nor passions. A concept such as of mortality or immortality is not applicable to it. Its working is above human understanding; hence, it is futile attributing to it human qualities of jealousy, hate, anger, etc. The creations by AYI include what we often translate as creations by the FOUNDERS of the world. Their creations can include God the creator in a sense. Each of us is ayi who can compose Ruaobi to the extent that the “something extraordinary” manifests. The “something extraordinary” is a sine qua non to anyone who can be ayi in the proper sense. This is according to MASQUERADE COMMENTARIES. AYI is beyond worship. Theologians who invented Religion did not know either that AYI existed or they are silent about it for reasons best known to them.
Further Examples Of Ebo
Ebo can be generic i.e. belonging to all worlds. They can be transcendental, spiritual, or physical. Ebo (as concept and as entities or beings) dominates the lives of the African to the exclusion of God as understood by people of the religion of the Book and theologians. For example, the Prophet who deploys the staff against the magicians of the Pharaohs of Egypt derives the Ebo of the staff from Jehovah — hence, the Ebo of his God. The African does not derive the powers of Ebo from any such God or Almighty Being who supervises the affairs of His (God’s) people on earth. This must be so, because he/she neither defines any responsibility or task for the founders of the world nor transcendental Ancestors that they “handed over” to while withdrawing from the day to day affairs of humankind. He/she does not worship them or pay any homage to them.
Most Africans worship instead idols or deified human beings, the dead or ancestors, (including ancestors is animal forms such as snakes, crocodiles, turtles, etc.) vexatious spirits, and their divine kings or priest-kings. It should be pointed out that the African worships only vexatious spirits and dead ancestors, such that worshiping is in APPEASING them. I am over sixty five years of age; I have never observed instances of thanksgiving to them. Not only have I never observed, I do not know of anyone who does. A negligible minority of liberated Africans are no idolaters in this sense. They have recovered from the evil effects on their intelligence principle, of the potions consumed during ritual initiations. These however do not stay in Africa; they are in Europe, the Americas or elsewhere outside Africa.
Offering of animals (include human animals) forms the core of the worshiping and appeasing. Africans who some call “believers” indulge in this form of ancestor worship often in the sly.
The African by his/her actions is own God. We may summarize the attitudes of the healed and liberated Africans who do not neither reflect nor meditate on these issues could be in the expression, “I am my God”. (The Benin do not have a word either for reflection or meditation. I will appreciate it if other Africans could tell us what they call meditation in their own native language. The accuracy of such words will be investigated.) There is an annual festival in Benin Kingdom called ANNUAL IGUE FESTIVAL. The natives of Benin Kingdom anoint their heads and “pay homage” to it.
Our people thank their collective heads annually during the festival for leading them through the preceding year successfully and without harm. Individual persons may perform a lesser ceremony any time of the year when an occasion warrants it, such as escaping uninjured or with minor injuries in an accident that claimed many lives. Father or mother may thank his own head for the safe-return of a son from the battle front. A mother may thank own head when a daughter delivers safely after a difficult labor. The gods and ancestors do not enjoy this type of show of gratitude. The people in the examples mentioned above might have made many sacrifices to appease them before the happy ending that they celebrate! This proves the "My Head is my ultimate focus deserving of my veneration"; the head being the symbol for the IntSanct. I must still add a caviat that the Spiritual Sovereign does not indulge in this worship of reverence either for the head or the IntSanct. How can a person who is own God or who believes in his own head as others God, also worship gods or priest kings? This is an example of the contradictions, which Lévy-Bruhl defines as, “. . .a kind of thought which does not refrain from inner self contradiction, a kind of thought in consequence of which objects, beings, phenomena can be, in a fashion, un-intelligible to us, both themselves and at the same time something other than themselves".
One consequence of this (Africans') attitude is that Africans understand that one’s head (or the Ebo of the belly) is the source of the power that one projects or emanates. Remember that I said that the status in the IntSanct is felt in this region of the body. The Ebo of some may be thought to be stronger or greater than the Ebo of others “lesser beings”. The deference should be the extent to which you are in control. He/she believes that by the creation of appropriate Ebo entities or gaining dexterity in manipulating the Ebo of others, Ebo of things as the earth, waters, fire, the air, the bones of the living and the dead, all things are possible. The highest goal for the African is freedom to exercise this capability, which capability often borders on impunity. We must find ways of taming this passion for impunity by forcing them to abide by the Universal Golden Rule (UGR) as explained above.
